The chemical composition and temperature of the liquid and its applicable nozzle material
1. Liquid containing Cl-chloride ion: such as salt water, seawater, suitable for copper (Cu) material
2. Alkaline liquid: stainless steel 316, stainless steel 303, stainless steel 304, of which stainless steel 316 has a higher degree of alkali resistance.
3. Acidic chemical liquid: plastic, Hastelloy or titanium material, wherein Hastelloy and titanium have the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, wear resistance and mechanical strength, which can be applied to wastewater with complex composition, the price of the two is more expensive and the material of Hastelloy is heavier.
4. Extremely acidic or particularly complex liquids:
● PP - has low hardness, long service life, sufficient temperature resistance (below 60 degrees) and strong alkali resistance.
● PVDF - has good chemical resistance and temperature resistance, can be applied to high temperature to 100 degrees of water or chemicals, but the corrosion of some chemicals will increase with the temperature, corrosion will also increase, so there is no guarantee that PVDF can withstand the corrosion of chemicals to 100 degrees. Hardness is also high, less resistant to strong alkali.
● Teflon(Teflon) - the highest chemical resistance, but poor mechanical properties, and the material is softer, less durable.
